Self Esteem #84: Today I cooked myself a grown up meal :-D I made spaghetti with sausage and green beans and tea. The tomato sauce was too salty and the sausage was a bit spicy, but I’m proud :-)
Self Esteem #82: Today I made a real meal! Pasta, green beans, Italian sausage in tomato sauce and iced tea. It was all right :-P The tomato sauce had too much sodium, so I’ll leave it out next time. It looked good :-)
Self Esteem: #71: I made strawberry and banana pancakes! They were pretty good and didn’t require any syrup or butter! I’m a pancake genius!

I’ve gotten back to cooking food for myself, been spoiled for a while by my mom cooking all the time. I made sautéed red bell peppers and put them in some scrambled eggs with a dash of salt and put it in between two slices of whole grain bread and had pretty good sandwich :-) It feels good to make a cheap satisfying meal now that I finally have a kitchen again. I also like knowing exactly what has been put in my food :-) I didn’t take a picture of my sandwich, but here are some awesome cookies I made in my recently obtained kitchen:

Self esteem #24: Yesterday I made a super easy casserole with lentils and brown rice and it was all right :-)
