I’ve challenged myself to write one positive thing about myself everyday for at least a year.
Self-Esteem #5: For a long while, I talked myself out of applying to programs and jobs because I didn’t think I would be accepted. These days, I’m applying to a ton of things because I keep reasoning that 1) They’ll definitely say no if I don’t apply; 2) The most successful people were told no a million times; 3) The worst they can do to me is say no; 4) Who knows, I might actually get it. 5) But, if I don’t get it, I’m going to figure out a way to do it anyway.
